LOOKING FOR SOMEONE THAT KEEPS THE ROOSTERS ALIVE (2016)

Looking for someone that keeps the roosters alive" is an installation of human-sized photographic prints. The material of the works are light sensitive chunks of paper, lit with projections, blocking the light of the projector with blown up negatives. The video's and photographs that were used in the choreography were taken on a pilgrimage through Java, Indonesia. The search is continued in the darkroom, in an attempt to make fleeting memories and whispers, tangible again, with the physicality of the paper and the bodily effort it takes to create the prints.
